Luminescent Thin Films Enabled by CsPbX3 (X=Cl,Br, I) Precursor Solution

Inorganic cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals are candidates for lighting and display materials due to their outstanding optoelectronic properties. However, the dissolution issue of perovskite nanocrystals in polar solvents remains a challenge for practical applications. Herein, we present a newly designed one-step spin-coating strategy to prepare a novel multicolor-tunable CsPbX₃ (X=Cl, Br, I) nanocrystal film, where the CsPbX₃ precursor solution was formed by dissolving PbO, Cs₂CO₃, and CH₃NH₃X into the ionic liquid n-butylammonium butyrate. The as-designed CsPbX₃ nanocrystal films show high color purity with a narrow emission width. Also, the blue CsPb(Cl/Br)₃ film demonstrates an absolute photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQY) of 15.6 %, which is higher than 11.7 % of green CsPbBr₃ and 8.3 % of red CsPb(Br/I)₃ film. This study develops an effective approach to preparing CsPbX₃ nanocrystal thin films, opening a new avenue to design perovskite nanocrystals-based devices for lighting and display applications.     

Recent Progress of Small-Molecule Ratiometric Fluorescent Probes for Peroxynitrite in Biological Systems

Peroxynitrite (ONOO⁻) as a major reactive oxygen species plays important roles in cellular signal transduction and homeostatic regulation. Precise detection of ONOO⁻ in biological systems is vital for exploring its physiological and pathological function. Among numerous detection methods, fluorescence imaging technology using fluorescent probes offers some advantages, including simple operation, high sensitivity and selectivity, as well as real-time and nondestructive detection. In particular, ratiometric fluorescent probes, in which the built-in calibration of the two emission bands prevents interference from the biological environment, have been extensively employed to monitor the fluctuation of bioactive species. In this review, we will discuss small-molecule ratiometric fluorescent probes for ONOO⁻ in live cells or in vivo, which involves chemical structures, response mechanisms, and biological applications. Moreover, the challenges and future prospects of ONOO⁻-responsive ratiometric fluorescent probe are also proposed.     

Enantioselective Synthesis of Chiral Carboxylic Acids from Alkynes and Formic Acid by Nickel-Catalyzed Cascade Reactions: Facile Synthesis of Profens

We report a stereoselective conversion of terminal alkynes to α-chiral carboxylic acids using a nickel-catalyzed domino hydrocarboxylation-transfer hydrogenation reaction. A simple nickel/BenzP* catalyst displayed high activity in both steps of regioselective hydrocarboxylation of alkynes and subsequent asymmetric transfer hydrogenation. The reaction was successfully applied in enantioselective preparation of three nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory profens (>90 % ees) and the chiral fragment of AZD2716.     

基于无机纳米材料的抗菌抗病毒功能涂层和薄膜

COVID-19在全球的大流行对人类的健康生活和社会的正常运行都造成了严重的危害. 阻断致病微生物通过受污染表面与人类间接接触传播, 或者避免与其直接接触是保护我们免受伤害的主要方法. 目前的解决措施包括设计开发抗菌抗病毒表面涂层和研发由自清洁薄膜或织物制成的个人防护设备. 综述了近年来几种研究广泛的金属、金属氧化物、金属有机框架材料等用于抗菌抗病毒涂层或薄膜的工作, 对其作用机制和微生物灭活效果进行了总结讨论, 并且评估了其本身的毒性以及实际应用的局限性, 最后就抗菌抗病毒涂层和薄膜开发的挑战和新兴研究方向提出了未来展望.

Transition Metal Doping Induces Ti3+ to Promote the Performance of SrTiO3@TiO2 Visible Light Photocatalytic Reduction of CO2 to Prepare C1 Product.

Transition metal Fe, Co, Ni and Cu doped strontium titanate-rich SrTiO₃@TiO₂ (STO@T) materials were prepared by hydrothermal method. The prepared doped materials exhibit better photocatalytic CO₂ reduction to CH₄ ability under visible light conditions. Among them, Fe-doped and undoped SrTiO₃@TiO₂ under visible light conditions CO₂ reduction products only CO, while M-STO@T (M=Co, Ni, Cu) samples converted CO₂ to CH₄. The average methane yield of Ni-doped STO@T samples are as high as 73.85 μmol g⁻¹ h⁻¹. The production of methane is mainly due to the increase in the response of the doped samples to visible light. And the increase in the separation rate of photogenerated electrons and holes and the efficiency of electron transport caused by the generation of impurity levels. The impurity level caused by Ti³⁺ plays an important role in the production of methane by CO₂ visible light reduction. Ni doping effectively improves the photocatalytic performance of STO@T and CO₂ reduction mechanism were explained.
